In 1996, as part of a Team Canada trade mission, Ron Yuers, the Chairman of the Board of the Kryton Group of Companies traveled to India. During this trip he met Mr. Umesh Kakkar (the Managing Director of Kryton Buildmat – India) and there has been no looking back ever since. During a highly successful trip, a joint venture agreement was signed to open a factory in India. While Kryton’s India plant manufactures Concrete Waterproofing and Specialty Coatings Products in Haryana, its offices and administration facilities are located in Delhi and Gurgaon. Kryton aims at exhaustive expansion plans all across India.

During the 10 years of its existence in India, Kryton Buildmat has had one aim – to create concrete waterproofing, repair and protection systems that deliver promises.
